What time are services at Hutto Community Church?
We meet Sundays at 10:00 AM at 304 E. Austin Ave. in Hutto, Texas. If you can't join us in person, the service streams live on YouTube and Facebook at the same time.
How long is the service?
About an hour. We sing for 20 to 25 minutes, then Pastor Russell Daniel preaches for 30 to 35 minutes.
Where do I park, and where do I go when I arrive?
Park in the grass or in the parking area next door to the church, which you can enter from 131 Front St. From there, walk to the courtyard. If you have kids, head into the kids building to drop them off; otherwise come straight into the worship center.
What should I wear?
Come as you are. Some people wear nice shorts and a collared shirt, most are in jeans or pants, and some wear t-shirts. You will not be out of place.
What happens with my kids?
HCC Kids serves infants through 5th grade and meets during the 10:00 AM service. Check-in happens in the kids building and is handled by our volunteers using Planning Center. If it's your first time, you'll fill out a short form about your child and we'll enter the information for you. Both you and your child are issued a sticker, and the two have to match before your child is released at pickup. Every volunteer completes a background check every year.
What's the music like?
Our band leads worship — roughly four songs in a contemporary worship style, with hymns occasionally mixed in.
Am I expected to give money?
No. Giving is an act of worship for our members, not something we ask of guests. If you do want to give, you can give online, in person on Sunday morning, or by texting "HuttoCC" to 73256.
What does Hutto Community Church believe?
We're a non-denominational Christian church. In short: one God in three persons; Jesus as God in the flesh and the only solution to sin; the Bible as the inspired and authoritative word of God; and salvation as the forgiveness of sins by grace — not by church membership, works, good deeds, or heritage. What do you believe about baptism?
We practice baptism by immersion for believers, in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. It doesn't save anyone — it's an act of obedience that pictures faith in a crucified, buried, and risen Savior, and the believer's own death to sin and new life in Christ.
Is there anything for students or adults during the week?
Yes. Our student ministry serves middle and high schoolers under Youth Pastor Yves Bernard, and adult small groups meet in homes throughout the week for Bible study and community, with childcare provided.
